Base & Bonus Pay or Profit Sharing Assume you have finished the Fast-Track Assessment (FTA) or Take-Home Assessment (THA) and have passed the Evaluation, as an up-and-coming ATSR, you have the option of being employed by Eon Labs Ltd. and receive Base & Bonus Pay or entering Partnership with the company to receive Profit Sharing.

Either way, although your skin in the game is not mandatory, SNRF is required for PFP and Profit Sharing. If you are located in the United States, you may choose between W2 or C2C employment status.

If you pick the Partnership option, you’ll have to share all intellectual property rights in any original works or ideas used to developed your algo-trading strategy with Eon Labs Ltd. once the MSA hits the ACIC.

Sharing your IPs is a good thing because it means that you’ll be managing institutional client funds. It’s a way for us to help you increase the AUM of your algo-trading strategy.

ATSR may become eligible to trade institutional client funds upon Graduation.

If you opt for the Partnership option, you’ll have to take a good look at the Profit Sharing page.

Once you have finished reviewing the Profit Sharing page, you’ll see that the Base & Bonus Pay is comparable to Profit Sharing with the following differences:

  1. In a sense, for employees, CI% is 0% (i.e. ibAUM is fixed) If a trading system by a ATSR employee demonstrates robustness in live trading and its signals (i.e. timing & direction) synchronous with backtesting ones during Probationary Period, Eon Labs Ltd. will make every effort to retain the ATSR as an exclusive employee by raising his or her ibAUM. The risk of losing his or her expertise to another rival prop firm is unbearable because when a trading system is faced with a substantial increase in AUM, it can be subjected to increased market impact pressure, which can result in alpha bleed.

  2. In a sense, the base pay is 100% of the estimated TMAEG on the ibAUM Although Fair Pay is always on the top of our list, the ceiling of your ibAUM is limited by some other factors other than your strategy’s own performance. For more info, please read Allotment Constraints.

  3. Bonus pay for employees is based on PFP. It can be understood as a curbed version of Profit Sharing.
