Eon Business Challenges

Our challenges in business expansion, including seemingly straightforward yet unpromising strategies, are as follows:

  1. Aggregator: As it stands, we lack the vast network enjoyed by significant players like Emil and Hao.
  2. Inexperienced hire to diversify our strategies: We don’t currently possess enough knowledge of non-ML conventional HFT or delta-neutral systems to nurture them. These circumstances imply that to complement our existing system, we must bring onboard a top-tier, experienced, proven lead quant trader (conventional market is okay, too). The hurdles in attracting such talents, as I see it, are three-pronged:
  3. Attraction: Addressing the facilitation of U.S. work visas for potential candidates is a priority.
  4. IP Retention: Safeguarding our proprietary knowledge is vital, which requires ensuring new hires’ trustworthiness and compatibility with our existing team.
  5. Qualification: Determining potential hires’ expertise might necessitate external assistance, such as industry professionals like Hao, to conduct comprehensive interviews.
