Hi Terry,

Thanks kindly for the email approach, and certainly we do recruit quant trading and quant dev style positions for a range of clients. We work extensively with the largest, well-established HFT trading firms in the world, and many of our clients trade digital assets, alongside more establishing trading markets.

However, we are based in Sydney and support our clients across Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and HK. So we aren’t well placed to recruit any positions for your team in Vancouver, although I do appreciate the work can be done remotely for your team.

Further, if you are seeking to pay candidates only $25-190 CAD per hour this is quite a low-level comp to get candidates interested, also we charge our clients a fixed fee percentage from 18-32%. Simply, it wouldn’t be that interesting for us to send over any candidates in our APAC-region to work on a humble hourly rate, on a remote position based out of Vancouver.

I have cc:ed in one of our team, Michael Cunningham [Partner with our firm], and we can keep your firm in mind for any specific candidates that may be headed to Vancouver.

Feel free to review our site for an understanding of our services [https://www.antonmurray.com/], and if EonLabs opens an office in APAC in the future, then feel free to follow up with us and we may be in a position to help.

BTW: great looking website too [https://www.eonlabs.com/] and looks like your team has built a great business in Canada.

Please provide insights on compensation packages that would appeal to mid- to high-level candidates in your pool.

Also, note that the hourly rate mentioned was intended as a unit rate that can be directly translated into annual packages. For example, if the monthly work hours are 176, the monthly base salary would be 176 x 190 = 33,440 CAD, and the annual base salary would be 33,440 x 12 = 401,280 CAD.
