Eon Labs Ltd. is an innovative fintech startup specializing in developing advanced quantitative trading systems and strategies. Responsibilities
Section titled “Responsibilities”You will join a remote team of data scientists and machine learning engineers who primarily work on time series forecasting problems in the cryptocurrency and commodity futures market. More specifically, we expect you to do the following:
- 💡 Conduct Experiments: Enhance trading performance by implementing the latest research papers. Optimize and combine these implementations with your own ideas to achieve specific strategic goals.
- 📊 Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making.
- 🤝 Collaboration: Work with team to design and optimize algorithms.
- 🔄 Stay Updated: Apply latest AI and machine learning developments to solve trading challenges.
Qualifications - Skills and Experience
Section titled “Qualifications - Skills and Experience”- 🎓 Educational Background: Minimum of a Master’s degree; publications are a plus.
- 💻 Technical Skills: Familiar with machine learning languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- 🔬 Research abilities: You are good at understanding and implementing research papers and have good coding skills to replicate the details.
- 🧠 Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent at tackling tough problems with creative solutions, always ready to go the extra mile.
- 🎯 Goal-Oriented Mindset: You set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them, focusing on delivering impactful results.

Workplace
Hybrid work is an option at IQ Office in Vancouver’s Financial District. This location provides amenities such as a gym membership, bike storage, and breakfast.
Probation
There is a mandatory probation period of six (6) months for all newly hired full-time employees. Compensation is up for discussion and will be subject to revision after a period of six months to one year.
