Some thoughts around the collaboration:

Abaqus – Eon Labs collaboration

  • What finance problems could be explored for quantum enhancement?
  • What would a Quantum Solution valuable to fintech enterprises look like?
  • How do we integrate such a quantum solution into fintech workflows

Would initiating a collaborative project centered around quantum-enhanced feature selection be an interesting pilot project?

**What we have been working on: **A Quantum enhanced feature selection algorithm.

We are currently developing and testing a quantum enhanced feature selection for prediction model building. We have several iterations of this algorithm, some testing more fundamental or experimental aspects of pattern recognition, other operating as generic quantum optimization routines. As feature selection techniques, these are operational and comparable to competing quantum solutions found in literature.  Schematic below gives a high-level overview of the algorithm:

As part of this collaboration, we would like to clarify the partnership’s scope by gathering information about the datasets used in back testing, including details such as the time range, data size, and the number of parameters or variables tracked. Furthermore, we are interested in understanding the back testing methodology employed by Eon.

Lastly, we are keen to explore how we can benchmark our results effectively in the industry, relying on insights from existing literature.

The QFS is an example of quantum solution, we are also able to such as leveraging quantum optimization techniques to custom loss function research and optimization of machine learning techniques in general.
